Bamboo trellis is a great solution for climbing vines and vegetables like peas, cucumbers and other climbing vegetables which use tendrils to climb. Make  your own simple woven bamboo trellis with Bamboo Stakes and Bamboo Strips.

Place stakes about 15 to 25 cm apart, depending on the type of vine you plant to grow. The two end poles should be no more than 170 cm apart. Stick the pointy ends of Bamboo Stakes vertically (for single pane trellis) or at an angle (for triangular shaped trellis with two panes) into the soil. Push down deep enough to ensure poles are firmly fixed. Once all the poles are in place, use split bamboo strips for horizontal weaving. Weave the length of bamboo strips through the stakes by passing it alternatively behind and in front of each stake. Slide the strip down to about 15-25cm above the soil level. Repeat this step with another strip but alternate how the pole weaves front to back with the first pole. Continue this process until you have a sturdy latticework trellis that has the spacing your plants require.

Grown, split and sourced in Bali. All stakes and splits are 2 meters long
